Hair wellness brand Vegamour, which launched in the UK last year, has introduced a new product to the brand’s plant-based offerings: HYDR-8 Leave-In Conditioner.

The conditioner will be launching June 6th on Sephora’s website and the brand’s own website. Nicole Kidman is an investor in the company.

About HYDR-8 Leave-In Conditioner

According to Vegamour, this multitasking Leave-In Conditioner fights frizz, tames flyaways and detangles, leaving hair “hydrated, radiant and silky smooth.” Powered by Karmatin (a vegan alternative to keratin), this clean conditioning spray provides thermal protection (up to 450°F) and fortifies strands to repair the look of damage.

Clinical results showed that after just one use the HYDR-8 Leave-In Conditioner provided thermal protection up to up to 450°F, left hair 14x more hydrated and reduced frizz for up to 72 hours.

The Hero Ingredient

HYDR-8 Leave-In Conditioner is powered by Vegamour’s vegan keratin alternative, Karmatin. This ingredient is completely formaldehyde-free and formulated with the power of plant actives and natural botanicals. It utilizes microencapsulated vegan b-SILK protein which physically bonds to hair follicles and remains attached to strands even after rinsing.

Karmatin is proven to hydrate hair for up to 72 hours, protect the hair from damage from environmental aggressors and dramatically reduce frizz.
